The charm of an open-air village, with cobbled and tree-lined streets, French tiled houses and pastel shades, more than 120 internationally renowned luxury boutiques.
A meeting between the spontaneity of the street and the top performance of the podium. This surprising union, love at first sight, has given rise to one of the most influential fashion trends of recent years. In its wake, fashion catwalks have revealed an unexpected freshness and champions have been transformed into style icons.
To celebrate the Paris Olympic Games, la Vallée Village partnered with SPOT24, the Olympic exhibition of sports and urban cultures.
One thousand m2 Olympic exhibition of sports and urban cultures highlights like surfing, climbing, freestyle BMX, Skateboarding, 3x3 basketball and Breakdancing. Paris je t'aime and the Olympic Museum in Lausanne, Switzerland, home to the world's largest collection of Olympic heritage highlight novel sports and their links to urban and artistic cultures in a fascinating and immersive journey: a space dedicated to the Olympic Games and breakdancing champions, a fashion space designed to resemble a cabinet of curiosities, revealing the wardrobe tricks created by athletes to optimise their performance.
La Vallée Village is stepping up its activities throughout the summer, inviting its VIP clients to discover the exhibition, as well as the events of the Olympic and Paralympic Games and inviting the champions of these new disciplines, all with a touch of style, to its playing fields.
Renowned artists, pioneers of urban art and creation in new media or using innovative techniques, participate in the exhibition. Among them is Victor Haegelin, known as Potagraph, discovered in the video ‘La quête’ by OrelSan and an expert in stop-motion, who exhibits several of his videos in the ‘Skateboard’ area. PichiAvo, a duo of Spanish artists, designed the huge mural in the reception hall of SPOT24. Chalk artist Philippe Baudelocque has created a kinetic climbing piece. Known for his sea monster murals, Parisian street artist Kraken has created an original mural in ‘DJ’ space.
